Tin Can Bay
Tin Can Bay is that little piece of paradise that the high-rise developers haven’t yet found. It’s the place where you can enjoy a good, old-fashioned family holiday without the shopping malls and nightclubs. It’s where you literally feel the stress fall off your shoulders when you step out of the car.
Originally a small fishing village, Tin Can Bay has everything you need for a peaceful and relaxed holiday and is one of only 3 places in Australia where you can hand feed wild dolphins.
Our rare Indo-Pacific dolphins Patch and Mystique have been visiting Tin Can Bay for many years and now, the next generation of wild dolphins are making an appearance with a regular visit by Harmony. Other pod members are a little shy and just watch from the safety of Snapper Creek, but if you take a trip on the Dolphin Ferry Cruise you may just get a chance to see dolphins, dugongs, turtles and much more.
On the 3rd Saturday of each month, Tin Can Bay markets offer visitors and residents a wide range of goods – local-grown produce, crafts, clothing, furniture and plants are just a small part of what’s on offer.
With an excellent golf course, lawn bowls, kilometres of beautiful walkways, ample parks, fishing, boating and much more, Tin Can Bay is a beautiful, peaceful part of the world.
